After the purchase of power station components is valid for 24 hours, the corresponding electricity fee income can be obtained (for example, if the purchase is successful at 15:00, the electricity fee will be received at 15:00 on the next natural day). The system will combine the electricity fee of the day with the principal of the purchased power station components. returned to your member account;

The Berkeley nuclear power plant in the UK has been sold for £6.5 million (about $8.4 million). The new owner, Chiltern Vital Berkeley, plans to redevelop the site into a "super cluster" integrating nuclear energy research, training and artificial intelligence
In January 2024, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS) agreed to sell its 40-acre (16-hectare) science park in Berkeley, southern England, to Chiltern Vital Berkeley. The science park was originally purchased by SGS from the UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) for £3 million (US$3.9288 million) in 2016. SGS sold the site in 2023 shortly after Great British Nuclear (GBN) conducted a site visit.
Berkeley once had two Magnox power plants, which were put into operation in 1962 and closed in 1988 and 1989. In 2016, the site was saved from demolition and its laboratories were transformed into a science and technology park by SGS.
The buyer, Chiltern Vital Berkeley, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the project development company Chiltern Vital Group, which said it would work to transform the Berkeley site into a center of excellence for research and development of small reactors and micro reactors in the UK. As part of the agreement, a university technical college at the Berkeley site that can accommodate about 400 students will not be sold and will continue to operate. SGS said the British government will soon announce a technology supplier to develop a small reactor project at the site.
New nuclear power project 'one step closer'
Chiltern Vital Group has made it clear that it supports Rolls-Royce SMR's site selection in the UK and has developed a long-term offtake agreement to strengthen the financial viability of the project deployment. Rolls-Royce SMR said that Chiltern Vital Group's acquisition of Berkeley Technology Park has made the possibility of building a new nuclear power plant at the site a step closer.
